This curio cabinet had a small area of dog damage on a carving.  They seem to always go for the carvings.  I smoothed the surface, recreated the carving with epoxy putty, then faux finished to match.  The work was done in about an hour at the customer's home, and she wasn't inconvenienced at all.  She didn't have to empty the cabinet, take it in, wait for the work to be done, then make a second trip to pick it up.  Who needs that kind of hassle?

The aftermath of the dog.

The carving recreated with epoxy putty.  The repair needs final shaping before coloring to match.

The finished repair after faux finishing to match the rest of the piece.
