Record Storage turned Liquor Cabinet
Some people have furniture with great sentimental value, but no practical use. Sometimes these pieces can be given new life by converting to another purpose. In this case, a customer asked me to convert a record cabinet into a liquor cabinet (it was originally used for storing 78’s, in case you know what those are). It’s a very cool piece and now lives on.
I love the lion carving, but as originaly created, there’s only really one ue for this cabinet.
The finished piece - after adding shelves, polishing the top, and coating selected surfaces with a modern finish that’s resistant to alcohol.
With the innards removed - a nearly blank slate to create with.

Now what am I going to do with all these shelves?
